10 Craft Ideas To Do With Lego Star Wars Coloring Pages

Lego Star Wars characters are fun and exciting to color.

If your youngster has collected lots of finished pages, put them to good use with these affordable, easy crafts.

1. Star Wars Lego Family

The gang’s all here with this fun craft. Begin with three or more bathroom tissue cardboard, and have the youngsters laminate them with white construction paper.

Then, use colorful markers to create a Lego pattern around the cardboard. Next, have the children cut their favorite Star Wars characters from the finished pages.

The different parts of the characters should be cut out separately and then glued to the cardboard to make funny, abstract dolls your youngster will love.

2. Bring Old Legos to Life

Old Legos can easily be used to create a fun, one-of-a-kind decoration. Begin by having the youngster fashion two long Lego chains.

The two pieces can be sealed in the center with krazy glue or by wrapping packing string tightly around the center in a crisscross pattern.

When the child has colored several favorite Lego Star Wars characters, one can be hung from each end of the Lego cross for an outstanding hanging decoration.

3. Make a Lego CakeTopper

If your child likes Legos and Star Wars, a cake featuring these themes is almost certainly in your future.

Fortunately, the youngster can enjoy making creative and unusual cake toppers with Lego Star Wars coloring pages.

The child can choose from various characters and items from the pages. Once they’re cut out, they should be sealed in contact paper or glassine.

When they’re stapled or glued to craft sticks or toothpicks, they can be placed on top of the cake–or cupcakes–to add pizzazz to these birthday treats.

4. Repurpose Old Containers

If you have old plastic containers that are stained or that you no longer use, they’re perfect for creating decorative lanterns.

Have the youngsters spray paint them white with craft paint and paint or color a Lego pattern on the containers’ surfaces.

Then, decorate them with cutouts from the coloring pages, in decal style, so that the patterns behind them are also visible.

Drop a battery-operated tea light inside and display these cute lanterns on a desk or coffee table.

5. Princess Leia Paper Plate Craft

Princess Leia is perfect for this craft, and it begins with an ordinary white paper plate.

Have the youngster draw a triangle in the middle of the plate’s bottom section and color the remainder brown.

Then, create Princess Leia’s famous hairstyle from brown construction paper, but instead of making circular buns, make Lego-style squares instead!

Then, glue the Princess Leia cutout from the coloring page to the white section of the plate, punch a hole at the top, and hang this adorable craft anywhere.

6. Lego Laser Swords

For this fun craft, have the youngsters trace and cut out laser “swords” from ordinary cardboard and decorate them with colorful squares cut from construction paper.

Then, when their Lego Star Wars characters are finished and cut from the coloring pages, the swords can be decorated on both sides.

A special cutout can be used to fashion a handle, and when the work is sealed in contact paper or a light coat of acrylic spray, these fun swords will last a long time.

7. Make a Funny Yoda Poster

If your youngster’s favorite Lego Star Wars character is Yoda, this cute craft is perfect. Using green tissue paper, the child can make a 3D Yoda face in no time.

Then, rectangles can be cut from green construction paper to embellish his feet Lego-style. Next, add big goofy wiggle eyes and a fancy toothpick for a laser sword.

Cut “Legos” from multi-colored construction paper and use these to frame the coloring page. Hang this one-of-a-kind artwork anywhere!

8. Fun With Chewbacca

Start this fun craft by cutting a piece of cardstock into a rectangle and stapling long strips of multicolored construction paper all along the top.

A black marker should be used to make lines on the strips so it looks like a chain of Legos.

Then, have the youngster color and cut out Chewbacca and glue on a black pom-pom nose and two funny wiggle eyes to its face.

The cutout can then be glued to the cardstock underneath the fringes. When the “Lego strips” are lifted up, a funny Chewbacca emerges!

9. Create Unique Magnets

To make one-of-a-kind magnets, have the youngsters cut their finished coloring pages into Lego-size pieces.

They can do this in an abstract fashion or cut them so they can be put back together to create the original picture.

Either way, they should be sealed in contact paper, and craft magnets added to the back with krazy glue.

Hang these magnets on a refrigerator, appliance, or anywhere they’ll stick!

10. Lego Fun in the Classroom

For this fun craft, give each child a piece of colorful construction paper so that a multicolored banner can be created.

When they have colored and cut out their favorite Lego Star Wars character, it should be trimmed and glued to the center of the construction paper.

These can be strung together like a flag banner, making it look as if the characters are giant Lego pieces. Hang this colorful decoration on the classroom wall.
