Oberlin College became the first interracial and coeducational college in 1833. The first civilian ambulance service was started in Cincinnati in 1865.And now, in 2024, the Cleveland School of Cannabis announced that Ohio is home to the first accredited cannabis-focused school in the country.The school received accreditation from the Middle States Association-Commissions on Elementary and Secondary Schools after a "rigorous," three-year process, President Tyrone Russell said. The accrediting board recommended approval last summer and voted on Dec. 7, and the school just announced the 10-year accreditation earlier this month."We’re the only school that’s based solely in cannabis," Russell said. "There’s nothing else we teach. It’s not an add-on to what we do. It is what we do." Disaster Day, an interprofessional emergency response simulation, is hosted by the TTUHSC Office of Interprofessional Education each year at the Amarillo and Lubbock campuses. Student teams practice skills at three activity stations: triage, basic life-saving and team lift skills with an AMBUS (ambulance bus). #TTUHSCfuture

**Proud Moment** We cannot thank CYGNETT enough for their ongoing support, more recently their funding for this Dignity Vending Machine which has been installed into the University of Newcastle. If you are on LinkedIn then we know the importance of education to you. Well, imagine your daughters or loved ones, having to miss out on their education because they cannot afford to buy period products??? Today in Australia??? The reality, whilst it sounds unbelievable is that this is happening. With almost one in four students at the University of Newcastle coming from low socio-economic backgrounds, plus the increased cost of living, it’s easy to see how period products could slip to the bottom of the essentials list. Students at University of Newcastle now have dignified access to free period products thanks to the installation of this Dignity Vending machine. Meaning that no student will ever have to miss a day of education because they can’t afford period products. Such a simple solution with such a great impact. We are so proud to see these students so proud of the machine and the positive outcomes it is bringing for their community.A big three cheers to Cygnett who are always there supporting Share the Dignity and ensuring that everyone is afforded the dignity in life, that so many of us take for granted.
