I previously used Textexpander since 2013 but in the last year it has gotten quite unrealible and Smile not fixing things I reported. So that’s why I finally opted to get Typinator. Again, keep up the great work!

I just recently switched back to Typinator from the other guy (The one with TE as the initials), and I'm finding that I no longer am having issues that I had just been dealing with. I would do expansions and keep typing only to find I had done so too quickly for the other app and my new text after the expansion got caught in the middle of the expansion. This was very annoying to me and would cause me to have to retype something. Basically negating all the time I saved using text expansion. I'm happily back on Typinator now and I do like that it let me import my abbreviations from other app, which made swapping back pretty easy. Also, I do appreciate paying for version upgrades ~ yearly as opposed to subscription based if I'm being honest.

It is simple to use and adapt, and it is keeping my fingers in relaxed condition by just needing to type two 'd' characters to get (actual date) 2021-02-12. I may use it 50 or more times in a day. There are other features I am about to explore in Typinator. For the ease on my fingers it is a top-bargain GreyT

Wer viel schreibt, eventuell auch gar Sachtexte, in denen feste Begriffe oft wieder auftauchen, findet hier das beste Werkzeug, das ich kenne. Auch ganze Textblöcke lassen sich einsetzen, wenn es sein soll, doch erst einmal bietet es mir die einfache Möglichkeit, z.B. auf Englisch den Apostroph direkt durch die [+]Taste zu belegen (ohne die Umschalttaste bemühen zu müssen) und auf Französisch das so oft bemühte à durch eine Taste meiner Wahl direkt erzeugen zu können, ich wählte das [#]. Also, für Leute, die mit Sprache jonglieren müssen (oder mit diakritischen Zeichen) und viel und schnell schreiben müssen oder wollen, nach sehr lohnenswerter und interessanter Einarbeitung nicht mehr wegzudenken. Und man kann auch alle Funktionen, falls irgendwo verloren gefühlt, durch ein Tastaturkürzel einfach kurz abschalten, um wieder da zu sein, wo man vorher war. Ich danke auch persönlich für den Support, der mir in speziellen Fragen weiterhalf.

There's food, water, housing... and then Typinator. That's how important this software is to me! :) I use it many times a day and it saves me hours of time!I've tried other expansion apps; they aren't nearly as user-friendly as Typinator, and they are glitchy. But Typinator just works, and it works well. World-class service and a fantastic interface. Do not hesitate to purchase it today!
