Spotted: MV Anna loading three Liebherr cranes in Rostock, Germany.Recently, our MV Anna was seen loading three Liebherr cranes - LPS 425, LPS 180, and LHM 600 - at the Liebherr terminal in Rostock, Germany. The largest of the three, the LHM 600, has already been successfully discharged in Lagos, Nigeria. The JSI Alliance has successfully completed its first semi-submersible cargo operation on the deck carrier MV Zhong Ren 122, owned by Shanghai Salvage and long-term chartered by the JSI Alliance. The operation involved loading nine barges in Nantong, China for our client Neptune Equipment. This is the first batch of floating cargoes after those 2 semi-submersible vessels joined the JSI fleet. Both parties are keen to analyze the details and improve the abilities of the crew and their system. The operation is an excellent example of the collaboration between the SAL team and the crew of MV Zhong Ren 122, who managed to perform two shifts with varying drafts and trims within a single day, demonstrating the efficiency of the vessel’s ballast system. The successful handling of the barges, each with unique dimensions and weights, not only showcases the technical proficiency of the teams involved but also their ability to adapt and excel in the face of new challenges. The largest block including 5 barges had impressive dimensions of 90.00 x 27.00 x 23.00 m and a total weight of 5.500 mt.Thanks also to Marnex for the excellent brokerage service.

A milestone for Harren Nigeria! This past Wednesday was a landmark day as we celebrated the arrival of four vessels from the SAL fleet in Nigeria on the same day—a first for us!🚢 MV Anna was in Lagos, skillfully discharging a crane.🚢 MV Hanna wrapped up its stint at the Panther project and proceeded to discharge sand in Lagos.🚢 MV Calypso was active in Warri, dedicated to the Panther project.🚢 MV Trina handled reels in Onne for the Panther project.During MV Calypso’s stay, we also managed a crew change—8 crew members arrived and 8 departed, ensuring fresh energy and continuity. This was the first time our Lagos office successfully handled a crew change, marking a significant operational milestone.With our committed local team fully on the ground, everything ran seamlessly.
