I had the empanadas when I was in Colombia about 20 years ago. I loved them. Are they had to make? I saw the recipe you have.

Hi Erica! I have been following your blog now for about a year. I've already tried a few of your recipes, and they have all been delicious! My husband is Bolivian, and while their food is a bit different (I personally prefer Colombian food, ssshhh), he really enjoys all of the Colombian meals I have made for us! Some of them are even reminiscent of Bolivian dishes. 😉 Thank you for the inspiration. Happy New Year to you and your family!

Hi I stumbled upon your blog and loved your empanada recipe. The comments were closed in that post that's why I ma writing it here. Does the pre cooked cornmeal is different from regular cornmeal? I am gluten free so want to try these.I have got masa harina flour. Can I make with that?

I spent the holidays making so many of your recipes for my father who is from Cartagena Colombia. I remember my grandmother and the cooks making so many of these recipes growing up and spending every Christmas in Colombia around the big family table. I can't thank you enough for sharing all of these recipes with me and my family. Happy New Year to you!!!
